I am writing this blog to women that are going though a heartbreak or divorce whilst being pregnant .
I wanted to share some tips that could help you through this time . I understand that your pregnancy should be filled with happiness , love and memories that you want to treasure as you are bringing a new life into the world . Going through a break up during pregnancy can make things very upsetting and you may be feeling "why me or how am I going to do this as a single parent ? Here are some tips below that could help you through this time
- Surround yourself with family members and friends that make you feel better about yourself and you smile with
- You may be feeling "I should be choosing the cot / pram with my husband partner ?" ,however the relationship has come to an end . This is the time to learn about yourself and stay strong and you can try and choose things for your baby by yourself or you can ask your mum / nan /dad / best friend to help you
- make sure you make yourself feel good by putting some make up on or painting your nails a bright colour
- try to stay calm through your pregnancy , pregnancy yoga is really good for this
- Take a moment each day and say to yourself "OK it might not be how I imagined this but what am I grateful for today ?"
- Soon your bundle of joy will arrive and she or he will be your focus so keep focusing on the baby and your needs . Choose colours for the babies bedroom / start organising and getting ready for the babies arrival .... you can do this !!!
- remember you are not alone your baby and you will be a team
